Building relationships and seeking first the kingdom of God through fellowship, service, worship, discipleship, prayer, and learning. "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which has already been laid, which is Jesus Christ." (I Corinthians 3:11)

The Story

It all began with a vision of youth in lines flowing in and out of a barn, specifically an old dairy barn in Freeville, NY that had been converted in the 1970's to house Love Inn, a community of Jesus people. That barn is now the home of Covenant Love Community. In this vision, each person who passed through the barn was being fed, nurtured and then released into the world to serve the purposes of God in their generation.

In the summer of 1997, this vision started out as a youth gathering in Ohio for youth ages 15-25. The event served as a lead in to Celebration, a four day gathering of churches. When this turned out to be the final year for Celebration, the youth gathering was moved to New York and renamed Foundations. This unique gathering of youth continues to grow, prosper and impact young lives.

Foundations is designed to actively engage the next generation, to call them into a deeper relationship with God, to help them build their lives on God's solid foundation and to equip them to work and prosper in God's mission in the world. Our focus is on long term results. We want to see young people effected in such a way that their lives are changed and stay changed. We desire to see generations built on the Rock and impacting the generations yet to come.
